Samsung Smart Tv & Apple iTunes – who’s ranking high in consumer’s market

The rank of Samsung Smart TV and Apple iTunes business deal in consumer’s market

Opening a new world to entertainment, Samsung Smart TV is all set to connect your life and home with musical beats of iTunes. Yes, you heard it correct! Owing to the collaboration of the two long-standing rivals- Samsung and Apple, Samsung Smart TVs will come with iTunes movies, iTunes TV shows, and AirPlay 2 in spring 2019.

Both companies are competitor in Smartphone, tablet, software and in most markets. Although the move aims in the development of Apple into media services, it is evident that Apple is willing to change its hardware first approach. The deal just came weeks after Apple opened up Apple Music to the Amazon Echo.

Usually in the past, if you see Apple and Samsung together you would assume it is because of court documents. Now, however, it’s nothing of that sort. This business deal may have even greater significance for Apple as it tries to offset a slowdown at its devices business with growth in services.

Eddy Cue senior vice president of Internet Software at Apply said, “We look forward to bringing the iTunes and AirPlay 2 experience to even more customers around the world through Samsung Smart TVs, so iPhone, iPad, and Mac users have yet another way to enjoy all their favorite content on the biggest screen in their home”.

Won-Jin Lee Executive Vice President of Visual Display at Samsung Electronics said, “We pride ourselves on working with top industry leaders to deliver the widest range of content services to our Smart TV platform”.

What’s in there for normal folks like us?

You can buy or rent videos from iTunes and watch them in 4K HDR without buying from Apple.  Starting this spring when Apple launches its iTunes movies and TV show application Samsung 2019 Smart TV user will have access to thousands of movies and TV episodes, including a large selection of 4K HDR movies. And the user can search for content on iTunes through Samsung’s search engine “New Bixby” making searching easy for its users.

Samsung’s 2019 Smart TV will also allow the streaming of videos, music, and photos through Apple’s Airplay 2. So this win-win deal benefits both the tech giants. Apple gets to provide its content through the television that sells around the world and for Samsung, providing iTunes and Airplay 2 service means being able to provide more content only to its customers.

The new iTunes and TV shows app will debut in more than 100 countries for now and AirPlay 2 support will be available on Samsung Smart TV in 190 countries worldwide.

In a nutshell, despite the rivalry the top two technology makers need each other. And its cherry on cake because we get best services from Apple and Samsung right at one place!
